If you have registered on Natalog web site, Natalog Newsletter is mailed to the address you have entered.
Natalog records the topics you choosed (Natalog and/or Natalog Transfer) and the language of the page you registered on. No other information is kept by Natalog.
The data gathered by Natalog is never trasmitted to anybody outside Natalog.
Licence purchase
When you first open Natalog, some personal information is required. This information is used to "sign" your observations. At this step, the information remains on your computer and is not transmitted to anybody. Later, it will be known only by those you transmit your logs to.
When you purchase your licence, personal information is then sent to Natalog to create your personal ID that will make it possible to attribute your sightings to you wherever you transmit them and whatever the database used by your correspondant.
This personal information is the one you entered: your first name, your name, your initials or pseudo,
your city, your country.
Your email address is also sent to allow Natalog
to deliver your licence to you. This licence contains your unique Natalog personal ID.
This information is also accompanied by an identifier of your copy of Natalog, and of some data that will allow us to adapt our software to its use. The data concerns your operating system, the size and number of colors of your screen, the number of logs, sightings, species and spots you have recorded at the time you register.
Banking data is not transmitted to Natalog. Natalog only receives the information that indicates you have led correcly the payment procedure and that the licence can be delivered to you.
The data gathered by Natalog is never given to anybody outside Natalog.
